Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient radiologist with a strong background in medical imaging to fill a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various imaging techniques and a passion for providing high-quality diagnostic services. As a radiologist at Mehar Hospital, you will be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, including Ultrasound (USG) and Computed Tomography (CT) scans, and contributing to our multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Ultrasound (USG):
    • Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
    • Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on ultrasound findings.
    • Ensure the highest quality of imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
  2. Computed Tomography (CT):
    • Conduct CT scans and interpret the results with a focus on precision and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Additional Imaging Modalities:
    • Utilize skills in Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology, MRI, and X-ray as required.
    • Interpret images from these modalities and provide expert diagnostic insights.
    • Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and integrate new techniques into practice.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Uphold and contribute to the hospital’s quality control standards.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to imaging quality or patient safety.
  5. Patient Interaction:
    • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
    • Provide compassionate care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
    • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and contribute to treatment planning.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Medical Ultrasound (USG) is required.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
    • Experience with additional modalities such as Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology, MRI, and X-ray is highly desirable.
  • Education:
    • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Radiology.
    • Board certification in Radiology is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in interpreting and reporting results from a range of imaging techniques.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and patient care.
