In this emotional episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, relationships are tested as Armaan and Abhira face increasing tension over Abhir and Kiara’s crumbling marriage, while personal conflicts threaten to break their own bond.
The episode begins with Armaan making a heartfelt promise to Vidya that he won’t let Kiara and Abhir’s marriage fall apart. He tells her that if the divorce goes through, they will completely cut ties with the Goenka family. However, Abhira confronts Armaan, accusing him of making impulsive promises. She argues that he’s turning a blind eye to Charu and Kiara’s emotional pain.
Armaan justifies his stance, saying continued ties with the Goenkas after a separation will only worsen things for Kiara. He pleads with Abhira to stand by him, but she continues to defend Abhir, deepening the cracks in their relationship.
Meanwhile, Abhir informs Armaan that Manish threw him out of his room and Kiara is ignoring him. Manish lashes out at Abhir, calling him shameless. Armaan and Abhira agree to have a private talk with Abhir. Surekha worries this situation might drive a wedge between Armaan and Abhira, but Swarna trusts that Abhira will manage the situation wisely.
Armaan suggests Abhir seek counseling, reminding him that he chose to marry Kiara. However, Abhir refuses, calling therapy a waste of time. Armaan then proposes sending Kiara and Abhir on a honeymoon to rekindle their relationship.
Abhira, on the other hand, advises Kiara to consider divorce and escape the toxic bond. But Kiara remains hopeful that Abhir will eventually love her. Armaan urges Abhir to take responsibility for the marriage, but Abhir confesses that he’s still in love with Charu. This shocks everyone. Abhira tells Kiara to prioritize herself instead of holding on to false hope. Armaan is furious with Abhira for guiding Charu in the wrong direction, but she defends her view, saying Charu deserves peace and self-respect.
Amid the chaos, Ruhi notices the growing tension between Abhira and Armaan. In an attempt to restore some harmony, she convinces them to take Daksh to a birthday party. She excitedly mentions that Daksh will soon start calling Abhira “Maate,” showing her wish to bring them closer as a family. At the party, Abhira plays joyfully with Daksh, briefly forgetting the ongoing turmoil.
Before they leave, Armaan tells Abhira to wait while he finishes a meeting. Abhira continues playing with Daksh and is asked by Kriti to fetch a file. She requests Kriti to watch over Daksh for a moment. In that brief absence, Daksh gets hurt. Armaan is furious and accuses Abhira of being careless. In a moment of anger, he says she doesn’t deserve to be called Daksh’s mother, breaking her heart.
In a parallel scene, Abhir stuns Charu by asking her to elope with him. She’s left speechless by his proposal.
Later, Armaan vents his concerns to Ruhi, who tries to calm him down. She tells him accidents happen and reminds him that Daksh has just started crawling. Ruhi gently urges him not to place all the blame on Abhira.
Vidya puts Daksh to sleep, while Abhira breaks down and apologizes to Ruhi, calling herself a bad mother. Ruhi comforts her and encourages her not to overthink or be so harsh on herself.
